Dungscape is on show at The Mall Galleries in London, as a winner of The Natural Eye Bursary Award.
“The Natural Eye, the annual exhibition of the Society of Wildlife Artists at Mall Galleries showcases the very best of fine art inspired by the natural world. Knepp Wilding Estate - Saturday 15th August - Sunday 6th September
The Knepp estate is “a trailblazing 3,500-acre rewilding project in Sussex that has changed the way we think about nature and how we can heal our planet.”
The show was free to enter in the exhibition space at Knepp Wilding Shop. The two big oil paintings are set at Knepp, so from the exhibition you could head out on foot round the estate walking paths, and see how much of the featured wildlife you can spot.
Erica McAlister, Principal Curator of Diptera and Siphonaptera (flies & fleas) at The Natural History Museum in London, and who has helped immeasurably with this project, gave an opening talk at the Private View:
