Greens, Bristol - hand cut, hand printed linocut, in a limited edition

from £75.00

This linocut is printed on A4 size heavyweight acid free artist quality paper, using 6 separately inked blocks, which takes forever… so a very limited edition of 10 is available.

Each print is individually numbered, titled, and signed. Because of the process, each is slightly different, with characteristic imperfections of hand printing.

The size fits any frame designed for an A4 image, and the print is available either framed in my standard solid wood frame (as shown), or loose for you to frame yourself.

The edition consists of 10 prints (numbered 1-10) and 5 Artist’s Proof prints (traditionally marked ‘AP’, or ‘EA’ if you’re a French printer!). Artist’s proofs typically differ slightly from the 10 in some way and are more unique. Some people consider these more interesting, some think the differences are un-noticeable, and some prefer prints from the main edition. The artist’s proofs are marked ‘AP’, instead of n/10. You can choose at the point of purchase which you would like.
