How much will a commission cost?

From April 2026, I am trialling a cost calculator, programmed to reflect my pricing in a way that allows you to see the price of a commission before enquiring.

The factors are:

Size - as the artwork gets bigger, price per area reduces.

Number of subjects - this only applies to portraits, because of the time it takes to get a likeness

Medium - drawing (which can be black & white or colour), or oil painting.
