Red Chair 1 & 2

from £300.00

Graphite pencil and acrylic wash on A2 size white paper. Professionally framed in solid wood with acid free mount.

The models are Heff (right) and Keira (left). They model for Croquis Cafe. Representing the context around a model is a nod to celebrating the act and moment of modelling, rather than just as a staged vignette to be pasted into another composition. Whether it is the tape marking the model's foot position, or in this case the red stool, they (and many other models at the studio) have used as a prop in different Croquis Cafe sessions, when they posed. It is also a bit about the journey of items of furniture, and the common experience shared by women.

This was drawn as a Dyptich, but the drawings can be bought separately. If bought together they are reduced to £500 for the pair, please email me to arrange.
